!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that is in much better shape than the 1974 BMW 2002 that I am looking at, and for the same price. I’m conflicted because I want the, “cool factor,” and project that is associated with the 2002, but I want the E30 because it is simply the better car.
1974 BMW 2002 that I would like, for reference.

‘Sup Jack? I actually follow your car blog and am a fellow Raleighite :D 2002’s, in general, are gorgeous, in my opinion. However, that e30 is incredibly tempting. I’d keep looking around and keep and open mind!

$4500 seems really steep for a big bumper E30 with mismatched seats and a different colour bumper and air dam...

I feel like that 2002 was listed a long time ago but didn’t sell. Just looks familiar.

I just noticed the mismatched seats as well. Cancel this one.

The 2002 was brought down here from Michigan, in February, as a project car. The owner didn’t have time for the project, so he’s selling it now. It’s on the corner of Ten-Ten Road/Apex Peakway, in Apex.

What does it need?

It needs nothing in the engine or the interior. But it needs a bit of exterior help. It has minor surface rust, so that will need to be fixed. It also needs a passenger side lower trim piece, and a paint job.

I do paint.

Ooh. I am enticed. Would it be expensive?

Cost less than $150 including tools. I’d help you get started. And the quality is Ok for a DD not much for a show car.

OK cool. That’s affordable. I’m not looking for show car quality. I know that DuPont sells the original BMW paint (code 021), and I’d buy that as well.
